ADI Turkey’s panel in Ankara

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]ADI TURKEY’S PANEL IN ANKARA: “REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA ON THE WAY TO THE EU ON THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE OHRID FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT”

The panel organized by the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) Turkey entitled “Republic of Macedonia on the Way to the EU on the 15th Anniversary of the Ohrid Framework Agreement” was held on 18 March 2016 at TOBB University of Economics and Technology Conference Hall 3 in Ankara, with participation of diplomats, academicians, civil society representatives and students. After TOBB University of Economics and Technology faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Birgül DEMİRTAŞ made the opening remarks, Dean of TOBB University Faculty of Economics and Administration Prof. Dr. İhsan SEZAL introduced the university’s profile and Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Turkey, Her Excellency Mrs. Shpresa JUSUFI gave the keynote speech.

A panel discussion followed, moderated by Abdullah Sencer GÖZÜBENLİ, Director of ADI Turkey. The panelists were Prof. Dr. Rıdvan KARLUK, Faculty Member of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Turgut Özal University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bulent DERVISHI, President of the Council of Experts, Agеncy for Supervision of Fully Funded Pension Insurance of the Republic of Macedonia and analyst Habil MUSTAFAİ, Ph.D.

Panelists made presentations and participants discussed issues under the themes of “EU Membership Perspective for the Western Balkan Countries”, “EU Perspective on the Ohrid Framework Agreement”, “Ohrid Framework Agreement and Minority Communities in the Public Sector in the Republic of Macedonia”
